Arjuna Krishna-Das is 45 and has lived in Bushey since 2005. He joined the Green Party in 1985 in Liverpool, where he grew up. Krishna-Das is an author and technical communicator for a leading IT security company. He is married with two children, who go to Bushey Meads secondary school. He is also a consultant to the New Directions Foundation, which provides a blueprint for small-scale sustainable communities in the developing world. Krishna-Das previously stood for parliament in Bristol; he is a keen cyclist, and sees Peak Oil as both the biggest challenge we face and an opportunity to transform society for the better.
