Bill Rigby is a full-time campaigner who has lived on and off in Beverley for the past 20 years. Along with his wife, he promotes Education for Sustainability through Voice International, which works to provide advocacy for the oppressed and marginalized and others without a voice. His experiences abroad have driven home the relevance of the "think global, act local" message, which motivates his work as secretary of MARINET, the marine information network of Friends of the Earth.
