James Burn

James Burn has lived in Selly Oak for almost 10 years. He is currently coming to the end of training to be a social worker at the University of Birmingham, having previously worked for Birmingham City Council's cabinet office and in social care and housing. He has volunteered extensively with various local and national charities, including Age Concern, Fireside/SIFA, St Anne's Hostel, Human Writes, WRVS, Christian Aid, Oxfam and Amnesty International. He is currently the co-ordinator of the Birmingham Living Wage Campaign as well as co-ordinator of the West Midlands Green Party.
