Samantha Fletcher is 43 and has lived in Wiltshire for much of her life. She is the author of six books, and contributes regularly to the Times and various other national publications. She is married to wildlife filmmaker and fellow Green parliamentary candidate Mark Fletcher, and they have two children, who go to local schools. She is an active member of Friends of the Earth and local climate-friendly groups, and founded her children's school's eco committee.
