Chris Briton is a youth offending team officer in Somerset and is also a volunteer mentor for young people leaving care. He is well known locally for writing, directing and performing in pantos and is also a vigorous campaigner against the building of an incinerator in his constituency. He is married with three children who all attended local state schools. As a UNISON steward he sees protecting our public services as a high priority.
