Christopher Warleigh-Lack was born in 1969 and has lived in Ealing for four years, having returned to west London after living in Ireland. He works as an architectural historian for a heritage charity while studying part-time for a higher degree. A community campaigner, Warleigh-Lack is involved in, among others, the Save Gunnersbury Park project and issues around diversity. He is also a long-term campaigner against Heathrow expansion and is active in the London Growing Spaces project. As a user of British Sign Language, Christopher volunteers with a local deaf children's charity and works with deaf visitors to heritage sites.
