Paula Black is Devon's first Green Party county councillor and a primary school teacher. She is married with three children aged 4 to 15, who all attend and enjoy the local state schools. Black is an active campaigner on a whole range of social justice and environmental issues and feels passionately that people deserve good-quality homes to live in. She is working throughout the county to provide good alternatives to car transport and congestion, and demanding safer streets.
