Corinne Lindsey has lived in Newton Abbot for the past 13 years. For the past 10, she has worked part-time as a ward nurse at Torbay hospital. She recently took an Open University degree in social sciences and is now doing a master's in social science research methods. She is the mother of three teenage sons who have all been home educated but are now at university, sixth form college and school. She has been involved in community education groups and has supported new mothers as a counsellor for La Leche League, a breast-feeding charity.
