Bernice Golberg has lived in Croydon since 1978 with her husband and family. She is a qualified nurse and teacher. For 14 years she worked as a staff nurse on the children's wards at Mayday University Hospital, after which she lectured in nursing at King's College London from 1995 until 2009. She was also a school governor for 10 years. Bernice has been involved in many peace and justice groups over the years and joined the Green Party because its policies perfectly mirror her own values and beliefs.
