Dorienne Robinson has been a member of the Green Party for nearly 20 years. She is 56 , has a daughter, two granddaughters and a young grandson. She works for the SevernWye Energy Agency's Low Carbon Communities project in Powys as a project worker for the Transition group in Rhayader. She is a qualified adult education teacher and is completing an MSc in advanced environmental and energy studies. Her thesis is on food security for Powys in the light of climate change and oil depletion and proves that Powys could not only be self-sufficient by 2020 but also potentially a net exporter.
