Felicity Norman is married with two daughters and lives on a smallholding in Herefordshire. She is a part-time teacher and is a director of the Robert Owen Society, a co-operative organisation which supports teacher training and community regeneration. She is also a governor at the local secondary school, and organiser of Leominster's annual apple fair. Norman is also on the steering group of an exciting Transition Town project that is developing a community-owned renewable energy co-operative which aims to build an anaerobic digester for food and farm waste. She has been an active member of the Green Party for 28 years and was twice elected to Leominster District Council. In 2009 she was the Green Party's lead MEP candidate in the West Midlands. |
