Richard Wise was born in 1944 and has lived in Hitchin for 30 years. He recently retired from his job as a lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire in Luton. He previously worked for the Rank Film Organisation advertising department and the J.Walter Thompson Advertising Agency as a media planner. He is the author of Multimedia: a Critical Introduction, published by Routledge. Wise is married to a retired teacher and they have two grown up children.
