Hove

Cllr. Ian Davey

Ian Davey was first elected as a local councillor in 2007 following a successful career outside politics first in IT and then in the community and voluntary sector, where he set up and ran a local cycle training charity. As the Green group spokesperson on the environment in general and specifically transport and air quality, Davey is passionate about transforming Hove into a place with safer streets and clean air. He has lived in the city for 30 years and is married with two teenage children. Outside of politics he enjoys mountain biking and walking, watching football and cricket and has recently discovered the joys of gardening.
