Ian Wright is 43 and has lived in Portloe, near Truro in Cornwall for 13 years. He is married with two children who all go to a local primary school. Ian is an inspector of health and social care services for the Care Quality Commission-the government health and social care regulator.
Ian has been a member of the Green Party for 5 years. He is also a steward for Unison-the public service union. Ian believes the Green Party is a credible political force which will put people and public services first rather than the interests of the rich and powerful. Ian believes it is essential action is taken to reduce the risk of climate change, and ensure a fair progressive taxation system is used to pay the deficit rather than cut public services.
