Jonathan Rooks

Jonathan Rooks is 50. He has lived in the constituency for the past 26 years and has always lived in the area. In his professional life, he is an accountant and university lecturer. He is a keen conservationist, a supporter of several wildlife charities and a trustee of Bexley Heritage Trust, which runs Danson House and Hall Place. He is also the chairman of Crossness Engines Trust. Formerly a Bexley Conservative councillor, he switched allegiance to the Green Party several years ago through frustration with the main parties' inability to address environmental issues or to protect public services.
