Julia Erskine is 49 and has lived in North Tyneside most of her life, the past seven years in Whitley Bay. She is self-employed and married. She has supported the Green Party for most of her adult life, having been a member of the Newcastle group and Tyneside Friends of the Earth in the Eighties. She has worked in both the private and public sector, including for the NHS and Blood Transfusion, and as a volunteer for the PDSA and Conservation Volunteers. She is a keen supporter of CIWF, alternative energy and organic farming.
