Kevin Lister is 47, has lived in Gloucestershire for 21 years and is married with two grown-up children. He is a qualified engineer with an MBA and is also a post-graduate maths student at the Open University. He has been lecturing in mathematics at Cirencester College for five years and works with the students there on environmental issues. He has been heavily involved at both local and national levels in opposing developments such as biofuels, airport expansion and tar sands. He is a member of Airport Watch and Biofuel Watch.
