Kevin White is 37 years old and has lived in Redditch all his life and in Lakeside for 30 years. He has always taken a keen interest in environmental - and animal - related issues and in more recent years, these interests have widened to include the fields of social justice, health, democracy and community. He devotes much of his time to local campaigns and projects, including founding the popular Redditch Freecycle group and organising the annual Redditch Green Fair. He has campaigned against the siting of an incinerator next to a school, against post office closures and for the provision of local youth groups. He also advises Redditch borough council on sustainability and climate change.
