Lydia Somerville lives with her family in Dartington, where she is a teacher and a seasoned Green campaigner. She has been instrumental in the recent surge of Green Party activity across South Devon that has brought repeated electoral success. She has worked for Green Party leader Caroline Lucas and is currently chair of the local party. She has built her own sustainable house, is known for getting things done and lives in full the Green life she hopes to make available to everyone. She believes voters deserve real commitment to action in the form of a voice in Parliament that will call the Government to account, promote fresh ideas, and remain free from the influence of big business.
