Michael Jay is 61 and has lived in Hinton Blewett for 26 years. He has a smallholding where he keeps bees, is a part-time bus driver and runs a small beekeeping equipment business. He lives with his partner and their three children, one of whom goes to the local school, another works locally and the third is in a gap year. He's passionate about public transport, and wants more money spent on the prevention of ill-health and in the promotion of healthier lifestyles, which in the long term will reduce costs to the NHS.
