Anthony Lochmuller has lived in Northampton for 30 years. Now retired, he spent most of his working life in higher education in a technical role. Most recently, he was involved in research into the ageing of bookbinding leather and teaching basic skills to adults. He has stood for the Green Party many times in local elections and takes an active interest in alternative technology. He supports Practical Action, the World Development Movement, the Woodland Trust and many other campaigns. He also plays the violin in several local groups and took an active part in supporting his musical friends against Tory council cuts to the local music service.
