Vaughan is 48, married and has two sons. He has lived in Yelverton, Devon since 1991.

He works as a Field Service Engineer in the area of high technology electronics and has been able to demonstrate to companies such as Fujitsu-Siemens and Canon (UK) that adopting clean, environmentally friendly working methods can also make sound business sense.

As a keen cyclist, Vaughan would work to get more funding for cycle paths.

He is totally opposed to plans for an incinerator at Lee Mill and would push for a more environmentally aware solution for waste management.

With his passion for the environment allied to his knowledge of the corporate world, Vaughan will be the ideal candidate for South West Devon.
